DIY Balloon Garland Kit – Create Stunning Decor with Ease 🎈

There’s just something magical about a balloon garland. It instantly transforms any space into a celebration whether it’s for a birthday, baby shower, wedding, or “just because.”

At BoomBalloon Studio, we know not everyone has the time (or budget) to hire a balloon stylist for every event. That’s why we created our DIY Balloon Garland Kit back in 2024 so you can create professional-looking balloon decor at home, without the stress.

What’s Inside the Kit

We’ve taken all the guesswork out of balloon garlands! Each kit includes:

🎈 3 different balloon sizes (small, medium and large)
🎈 Balloon strip, Fishing line and a couple 260 balloons for alternative assembly
🎈 Balloon glue dots
🎈 Detailed instructions (tested and loved by our clients!)

How to Create Your Balloon Garland

Our instructions make it easy, even if you’ve never done balloons before:

Blow up the balloons
- Use a balloon hand pump or electric pump and fully insert the nozzle to inflate evenly (We also rent electric pumps).
- Keep them round, not pear-shaped—this is key for a polished look!
- Tie one 19″ balloon with a 12″ balloon in a pair, then tie other 12″ balloons in pairs.
- Inflate 5″ balloons in various sizes and tie them into clusters of 4.
Build your base
- Using the balloon strip, push the end of each balloon pair through the holes.
- Leave about 5″ of strip free at both ends—this makes it easier to attach later.
- Prefer not to use the strip? You can also use fishing line or 260 balloons included in your kit.
Fill in the magic
- Use balloon glue squares to attach your 5″ balloon clusters, filling in any gaps.
Display with pride
- Attach your garland using the ends of the balloon strip and a command hook (or your
- preferred method).
