FAQs

Latex balloons can be a choking hazard for little children. Please do not leave children unattended with any of our products.

How long will my balloons last?

11” latex balloons generally last between 12-20 hours filled with helium, and about 1-2 weeks when treated with Ultra Hi-Float.

Foil balloons will float for 3 to 4 days. In the right conditions it might last up to 8 days.

What is HI-FLOAT?

Hi-Float balloon treatment is a solution that forms a coating inside latex balloons to reduces helium or air loss. Helium-filled latex balloons will float 25 times longer on average with Ultra Hi-Float.

Hi-Float is very safe. It is nontoxic, non-irritating, noncorrosive, non-flammable and biodegradable.

You can read more about it on http://hi-float.com/instructions/faqs/

Handling Balloons

Keep your balloons in a temperature control environment.

Helium is sensitive to temperature changes. Cold air causes the helium to shrink, which makes the balloon appear to deflate, although it still floats. Heat can cause the helium to expand and the balloon to burst. When outside avoid exposure to direct sunlight and windy conditions as they may pop of fly away.

Mass balloon releases are illegal in several countries. We do not recommend releasing balloons outdoors because after all, it is simply littering.

But if you still decide to do so, please do it safely, and make sure you cut out the strings from the balloon.

We do not recommend inhaling helium.
